Great example of what often happens at the end of trends.  Sideways consolidations followed by breakouts.  In this case the weekly and monthly trend were down and that was one of the reasons for the 100+ pip drop.

When a currency has a NR pattern let alone a double NR pattern breakouts tend to trend.  This is a great 80+ pip example of this system in action.

Since the beginning of this blog this is the FIRST Three Period NR patterns with decreasing volatility and the breakout of course trended!

Another example of two NR patterns in a row followed by a breakout and huge uptrend.  Notice also the Total Strength statistical uptrend showed more strength then the following weakness, another very predictive sign of a possible uptrend.

This is a great example of a Double NR breakout with decreasing volatility followed by ever more decreasing volatility.  The market failed to make lower lows and had very little statistical weakness and thus the breakout to the upside was very likely to trend and it did.

Here’s a NR breakout that proceded to go directly to the pip to the 1.382 Fibonacci Profit Target as we teach in our classes.

Narrow Range breakouts usually work but even more so when weekly and monthly trend is down.
